How a quote from your plans works
- You send your plans. A PDF of the architectural design (floor plans, elevations), a joinery schedule or photos of the openings with dimensions is all we need.
- We analyse the joinery. We check the dimensions, the opening method and the requirements (insulation, security, threshold), and then select the aluminium system.
- You receive a quote by email within 5 working days. If something is missing from the plans, we will ask by email rather than call.
- A verification survey before production. The dimensions from the plans are used for the quote. Before the joinery goes into production, the openings are measured on site.
What to include
- New build: floor plans and elevations with opening dimensions, or a ready joinery schedule from the design.
- Window replacement: photos of each opening and the dimensions of the masonry opening (width and height measured in three places - the smallest dimension counts).
- Your preferences: profile colour, sliding or concealed-frame windows, acoustic or burglary-resistance requirements, planned installation date.

Is the quote free, and does it commit me to anything?
The quote is free and non-binding. You receive it by email and decide whether you want to go further.
Do I need to have finished plans?
No. Plans allow us to prepare the most accurate quote, but a floor plan with opening dimensions or photos with dimensions will also do. In that case the quote is preliminary and we refine it after the survey.
Is a site survey needed for the quote?
Not for the quote. For a new build the dimensions are in the plans. The verification survey is carried out only before production, so that the joinery fits the openings as actually built.
What files can I send?
PDFs, photos (JPG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC) and CAD files (DWG, DXF). Up to 5 files, each up to 10 MB. You can send a larger project by email to biuro@profialu.com.
What happens to the files I send?
The files are used solely to prepare your quote. They are not publicly accessible, and only the person preparing the quote has access to them. You will find the details in our privacy policy.
