A concealed-frame sliding door system such as the Aluprof MB-SKYLINE TYPE R is an exceptional solution that, thanks to its slim profiles, delivers a modern look and an unobstructed view of the surroundings. These doors add distinctive style to any project and give buildings a unique character. The door sashes of the MB-SKYLINE TYPE R system are discreetly hidden in the lower and upper frames, and in the variant with a cylinder drive or post locking, the side sash profiles remain invisible as well.

The doors can reach an impressive height of up to 4 metres, and with a surface-mounted drive the moving sash can weigh as much as 1200 kg. This makes it possible to create spectacular glass walls. The innovative design of the sashes and seals ensures comfortable use. Moving large elements takes little effort and the mechanism runs almost silently – tasteful sliding seals can be used in the frames, making everyday use of the doors even easier. The rollers in the frame are available in stainless steel or in elegant black
polyamide.

The door sashes of the MB-SKYLINE TYPE R system are made of modern, eco-friendly materials that deliver excellent thermal insulation. The thickness of the glazing also plays an important role, which is why triple-glazed units from 52 to 60 mm thick are used. A purpose-adapted surface-mounted drive is fitted with a radio receiver and a safety radar, enabling remote control of the mechanism. The drainage system with its dedicated channel effectively removes excess moisture.
